THE CAILEIGH DUGGAN SHORE ROAD CLASSIC
Held each Fall at Xaverian High School, this volleyball tournament showcases rivalries taking a back seat in support of kindness. Teams from across the NY State Girls Catholic High School Athletics Association (GCHSAA) gather to “Play Like Caileigh” and raise funds to support The Caigh It Forward Shore Road Classic Scholarships. While other scholarships focus on academics and volunteerism, these unique awards reward kindness - recognizing players making a meaningful difference by leading on and off the court with kindness and a giving spirit.
HUGGIN' DUGGAN SUGARBOWL SUMMER CLASSIC VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
On the sands of Breezy Point—where Caileigh lived, trained, and played sand volleyball — this annual Sugar Bowl summer tournament brings young athletes together to play the Caileigh way. With lots of hugs for victories and down moments, especially for those who need it most. And, fundraising to acknowledge and reward organizations and teens demonstrating a kind, day-to-day impact on others.
THE CAIGH IT FORWARD SHORE ROAD CLASSIC SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
These scholarship awards recognize volleyball players making a meaningful difference by leading on and off the court with kindness and a giving spirit. Our hope is that the scholarships not only recognize students for their good deeds, but also encourages others to play, live and love like our Caileigh. To Caigh it Forward. While other scholarships focus on academics, service, volunteerism and athletics, these unique awards reward kindness. The day to day impact students have on others.
CAILEIGH DUGGAN GCHSSA CHRISTIAN SPIRIT AWARD
Our mission to ignite and recognize kindness is gaining traction with this Catholic High School Athletics Association (CHSAA) supported scholarship award. Candidates and awardees are showing us how they are putting their Catholic faith into action to be that one person, in one moment, to really make a difference in another person's life.
O'MALLEY IRISH DANCE ACADEMY CAILEIGH DUGGAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
This "Caigh ('K') It Forward" Scholarship recognizes Irish Step Dancers who exemplify Caileigh Duggan's giving spirit on and off the dance floor. We are shining a spotlight on and encouraging more dancers to emulate our Caigh’s encouraging spirit towards dance mates and opponents in dance - and in life.
